The European headquarters of the United
Nations is located in Geneva Switzerland. The flag-lined Palais
des Nations is one of several UN buildings that can be found in Geneva. A
number of UN related organizations have headquarters here. They include
the International Red Cross, the
World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Health
Organization (WHO).
Tours of the United Nations leave from the gate located directly across the street
from the International Red Cross Museum.
These UN tours provide insights into the workings of the United Nations and its
predecessor, the League of Nations.
